1998 Sabbatical

From January through June of 1998, I was on sabbatical leave as Professore al Contratto at the Advanced Robotics Technology and Systems Lab, ARTS, Scuola Superiore di Santa Anna in Pisa Italy. I was also interacting with members of the PERCRO lab there.

My projects were reading papers in the literature of algorithms for sensorless parts orientation/feeding, and traveling in Tuscany and Europe.
